Rosebank Growers is based in Northern Rivers NSW, near Byron Bay, the most easterly point in Australia.

The nursery was originally established to provide stock for Fingerlimes Fresh.  Fingerlimes Fresh is an associated company started in 1992  (as Ironbark Wildflowers). 

In 2008 production of finger limes was started and later many other bush foods added.

The large scale production of Lemon myrtle - Backhousia citriodora for growers/suppliers of oil and dried product required extensive investment in the latest nursery technology.

This included climate controlled propagation houses with heated rolling bench tops  and labour efficient rolling palletised bench tops for growing out shade areas.

Key People

The expansion of the nursery was made possible by the experience of nursery manager Paul Kirkland. Paul brings extensive experience of large scale nursery production in propagation of avocadoes, macadamias, palms and exotics.

Owner Chris Findlater has contributed knowledge gained from over 30 years in cutting  propagation of difficult native plants for flower production, and later finger limes for Fingerlimes Fresh.  

Chris also brings extensive managment experience gained as CEO of Ironbark Software, a leading supplier and developer of systems for Agribusiness in Australia.
